With this collection, where reflections of light conjure up countless surprising scenarios, the skilled use of double firing allows it to overcome its usual limitations associated with the most common use of this material, namely as a wall covering for bathroom surfaces.
Not least thanks to the brand-new format included in the La bico di Paul range – the 33.3 x 100 cm, which is perfectly squared off so as to almost entirely remove any grout lines, resulting in tiles laid with paper joints, juxtaposed so intimately that they effectively create a seamless whole – with I Riflessi and their painstakingly developed graphics, double-fired tiles can finally break out of their traditional wheelhouse, shedding their reputation as exclusively bathroom materials in order to express themselves as an unexpected means of creating striking designer backdrops in living rooms, hotel lobbies or restaurants, to name but a few of the possible residential and commercial applications.
